Solar de Mós - Lagos

Solar de Mós is a small, family run hotel, with a welcoming atmosphere and a personal service. The hotel is built on 2 floors and has 15 well appointed bedrooms, all with a terrace or balcony. The public area at the Solar de Mós boasts a very comfortable dining area with a bar, fireplace and an adjacent lounge; all these areas are equipped with air-conditioning. The double doors lead to the sun terrace, the swimming pool and the well maintained gardens. On the terrace or in the dining room we serve regional meals like the famous “Cataplana”, shrimps cooked in garlic, and lamb cooked in the oven...

The hotel is located in one of the nicest areas of Lagos, and about 2 km from its historic centre. Porto de Mós (1 km) - A pleasant beach surrounded by cliffs. Ponta da Piedade (2 km) - Enjoy a unique Atlantic landscape. Boavista (5km) - Great views of the Bay of Lagos. Palmares (9km) - You will find a golf course here.

By Car (from Faro Airport to Lagos): - Take the EN 125 towards Portimão /Lagos. - After about 5km, exit the EN 125 and take the A 22 (IP1) slip road towards Lisboa/ Portimão/ Albufeira (just after the Espanha slip road). - Stay on the A 22 for about 80 km until you see a sign for Lagos Oeste-Vila do Bispo. - Take this exit and you will drive to the west of Lagos. - After about 2km, you will find a roundabout; drive straight ahead until other roundabout. Turn left on the way to Lagos. - Drive straight ahead until you reach traffic lights, where you should turn right. - Drive straight ahead until the end of the street where you will see Vila Branca Apartments. - Turn right and you will find the hotel 500 metres later. By Car (from Lisbon): - Take the A2 to the Algarve and follow directions to Portimão/ Lagos on the A22. - After Portimão, proceed to Lagos on the A22. - Take exit 3 to Lagos Oeste-Vila do Bispo. - Follow the above instructions.

The restaurant offers a comfortable area decorated in a rustic-antique style, and serves dishes based on typical Algarvian and Portuguese gastronomy. The restaurant is open for breakfast from 08.30 until 10:30, and snacks are available from 13:00 until 18:00. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:30. Located on the ground floor and next to the restaurant, the bar is the ideal place for an enjoyable, relaxing moment. It is open from 13:00 until 24:00.
