We are just a 2-minute walk from the seafront where you can find the marina and excursion services.

Just across the street is the Mercado dos Lavradores. There you can find fresh fruit and a variety of flowers from the island. You can also find the fish market which is on the lower floor. This is a very unique experience and a true treat for your senses. Walking past the market towards the sea you will go back in time as you enter the old part of town and walk through the very first roads ever made in Madeira. Also in the old part of town is the cable car that will take you to Monte.

From the Airport: You can either go by Aerobus or by SAM. By Aerobus: The Aerobus is a direct service. If you are travelling with TAP, you can get one of the circuits for free. (Please confirm with your travel agent.) By SAM: The SAM transport company do not do direct services from or to the airport but they do go more frequently and are more economical. Here are some route numbers from and to the airport: 20, 53, 113 and N78. Both of them will stop next to Residencial Funchal. Please confirm with the driver that you will exit next to Mercado dos Lavradores or Anadia Shopping Centre.

Residencial Funchal does not have any services or facilities with food and beverages. However, there is a wide selection of restaurants, coffee shops, bakery stores and supermarkets just a 2-minute walking away.
